Rakthashali

Rakthashali is a rare red rice variety. It has a high medicinal value. Ayurveda says this variety of rice, dating its use back to more than 3,000 years, is good for dosha, such as Vatha, Pitha, and Kafa. This white-tipped rice with red bran is believed to have properties to slow down the process of aging. Studies say that it is rich in antioxidants, calcium, zinc, iron, and other minerals.[1]
