Ranbir Singh Gangwa

Ranbir Singh Gangwa (born 4 March 1964) is an Indian politician. He is an ex-member of Rajya Sabha of Inld party from 2010 to 2014 and now he is a member of Haryana Legislative Assembly from 2014–present from Nalwa Chaudhry (Vidhan Sabha constituency) in Hisar.[1][2]

Biography

Ranbir Singh Gangwa was born on 4 March 1964 in village Gangwa, district Hisar. His father name was Shri Rajaram and mother name is Smt. Kesar Devi. He has two sons (Surender Gangwa and Sanjeev Gangwa). His son Surender Gangwa is an advocate and the other son Sanjeev Gangwa is an engineer.

Political career

Being a staunch supporter of Ch. Devi Lal's policies, he joined Indian National Lok Dal Party in 1999 and became member of Zila Parishad of Hisar district in Year 2000. He was elected as member of Zila Parishand in 2005 and became its Vice Chairman. He was elected Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) in 2010 and in the 2014 Haryana Assembly Elections he was elected as Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Nalwa constituency. He has served as President of Guru Daksha Education Society and played a key role in establishing its Industrial Training Institute in Arya Nagar (Hisar).
