Ras Daniel Heartman (18 January 1942 - 31 May 1990), born Lloyd George Roberts, was a Jamaican Portrait artist and Painter. He is considered to be the most recognised Rastafari Fine artists in the world, his drawings were widely Pirated and distributed around the world as prints/Posters in the 1960s and 1980s. 'PRINCE EMANUEL'(known around the world as 'RASTA BABY')a young Rasta boy from the Rastafari camp he represented(The Church Triumphant of Jah Rastafari) is the most copied of his artworks and still remains the most famous and pirated Rasta (and Jamaican) work of art.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, he grew up in the tough Whitfield Town area.[1] Heartman featured in the 1972 film The Harder They Come playing the part of Pedro, the best friend of Jimmy Cliff's character Ivan.[2][3]

Heartman emigrated to Tanzania, where he died in Arusha, aged 47.[3]
