Ravish Desai (Gujarati: રવિશ દેસાઈ, pronunciation : ra ʋiːʃ d̪eːsaːiː) is an Indian actor and model working in Bollywood and TV serials.

Personal life

Model turned actor, Ravish was born in Mumbai into a Gujarati family.[1][2] He has done his schooling from G.D Somani School, Cuffe Parade. Ravish completed his graduation from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. Finally, he went on to complete his post graduation as an MBA in Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

After finishing his MBA, Ravish worked as a consultant with JP Morgan Chase, Ernst and Young. One day he decided to quit all of that to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. He was always fascinated by cinema during his childhood. Ravish is inspired by movies and he firmly believes in destiny and hard work. He follows book writers like Paulo Coelho and Robin Sharma. He is currently in a real life relationship with Aarushi ( Mugdha Chapekar ) who used to be his co -star Aarushi in Satrangi Sasural . they have been dating for a year now and they have finally decided to take their relationship a step ahead. They are going to get engaged in January 2016 and they are expected to get married and tie the knot either during the end of 2016 or in the following year [3]

Career

Ravish began his acting career by modeling for TV commercials. He has acted in many advertising films. He made his Bollywood debut as Mangesh in Horror Story. Desai played the role of Kunal Shrivastav in Star Plus' show Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi… Meri Bhabhi opposite Kanchi Kaul. He was appreciated for this role. He was also seen in an episode of Bindass TV's Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Currently, he has played the lead role of Vihaan Vatsal in Zee TV's Satrangi Sasural opposite Mugdha Chaphekar and later opposite Vrushika Mehta.
