Rebecca Cuddahee

Rebecca Cuddahee is a County Legislator in Niagara County, New York.

Legislator Cuddahee was elected in 2003 to the County Legislature representing Niagara Falls, New York[1] and reelected to a second term in 2005. While a registered Democrat, she was elected with the backing of the Republican Party and caucuses with them in the Legislature. Under New York's cross endorsement law, she ran with the nominations of both the Democratic and Republican Parties in both of her races for the County Legislature. She had to win competitive Democratic Primaries in both elections. In 2007, she serves on the Community Services Committee, the Economic Development Committee and the Refuse Disposal Committee.

In 2007, Legislator Cuddahee is not seeking a third term in the Legislature, but rather is running for Niagara County Coroner against a Democratic incumbent. The coroner's office comes with a four year term and she would represent one of four coroner districts in Niagara County. Professionally, she is seeking a doctorate in physical anthropology from the University at Buffalo.
