Redding is a station served by Amtrak's Coast Starlight in Redding in Northern California in the United States. The depot was built by the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1923.[2] It has sheltered waiting areas on both platforms and a parking lot near the southbound platform.[3]

Of the 74 California stations served by Amtrak, Redding was the 55th busiest in FY2012, boarding or detraining an average of 33 passengers daily.[4]
