The 2017 Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairperson election will be held on or before January, 2017 to determine the next chairperson of the Republican National Committee.
Background
Reince Priebus, the longest serving RNC chairman will not be running for reelection. He is the White House Chief of Staff designate named by President-elect Donald Trump to the post once Trump takes office in January 2017.
