Resala, also known as Resala Association, is a non-profit organization based in Egypt.

History and profile

Resala was established in 1999 as a youth movement at Cairo University and Sherif Abd Al Azim, an engineering professor, supervised the movement.[1]

It is powered by over 250,000 volunteers spanning 67 branches all over Egypt. It provides 31 activities aiming at helping the Egyptian community. These activities include: caring for orphans, helping the blind, the deaf, children with special needs, blood donation, poverty alleviation, literacy training.[2]
