Rhema FM Newcastle

99.7 Rhema FM (call sign: 2RFM) is the local Christian radio station for the Newcastle and Hunter Region in New South Wales, Australia. It is supported totally by members, volunteers, faith and sponsorship advertising. They are a small Australian not-for-profit organisation with registered charitable status. Starting out on temporary broadcast on the 11th of May 1987, they were granted a permanent licence from the 1st of December 1999.[1][2] They also provide an external free program known as 'Rhema Catchup.com' where all missed programs on-air can be listened to online.

The station is strongly supported by the Christian community with large amounts of funding coming from their annual Rhemathon fundraiser, thanks to continual generous support. Rhema FM Newcastle is Gods Christian radio station in Newcastle and the Hunter Regions.
