Ribes curvatum is a North American species of currant known by the common names Granite gooseberry[2] and Georgia gooseberry. It is native to the southeastern and south-central United States (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama).[3]

Ribes curvatum is a shrub up to 3 meters (10 feet) tall, with white flowers and green or reddish-purple berries.[4][5]
