Richard J. Weibel

Richard J. Weibel was a magician and noted magic scholar. He was a long-time contributor to The Linking Ring, writing the column, Conjuring Psychology for many years.^[1] One of his most notable articles appeared in Genii magazine in 1980. The article, entitled "Emporiums of Miracles" began a series or articles outlining the history of magic shops throughout the U.S.^[2] Mr. Weibel was featured on the cover of The Linking Ring in 1994.^[3] He contributed no less than 1 article to The Sphinx magazine on the psychology of magic.^[4]
