Rick Rasmussen

Rick Rasmussen is a former professional surfer. He initially attended Manhattan Vocational and Technical High School [1] He was a former US Champion for surfing.[2] He was from Westhampton, NY.[2] He was filmed for the TV show The American Sportsman.[3] He was the first East Coast surfer to win the US Surfing Championships.[1] He was shot and killed in a drug deal gone bad in 1982.[1]
