Robert L. Summerlin was an American judge and politician, and the fifth Mayor of Orlando from 1878 to 1882. He was son of cattleman Jacob Summerlin and Francis Knight Summerlin of Orlando, Bartow, Key West, & Punta Rassa, Florida and received his law degree from University of Georgia and .[1]
