Roberta Marquez is a Brazilian ballet dancer, a principal dancer of the Royal Ballet in London since she joined the company in 2004.
Early life
Roberta Marquez was born in Rio de Janeiro and began dancing at the age of four.[1]
Career
Marquez trained with the Maria Olenewa State Dance School, and was further taught by local teachers and guest teachers from the Kirov Ballet. In 1994, she joined the Municipal Theatre Ballet in Rio and was promoted to principal in 2002. In 2004, she joined the Royal Ballet in London as a principal.[1]
