Roopal Patel was born in United States to Indian parents. Both her parents are immigrants. Her father is a doctor.

Career

Fashion veteran Roopal Patel will report to Tracy Margolies, the chief merchant at Saks Fifth Avenue. Roopal was recently appointed as the Fashion Director at Saks 5th Avenue. Roopal resigned at Neiman Marcus,[2] she was the Senior Fashion Director at Neiman Marcus.[3] She started her own Luxury Fashion consulting company in 2012 [4] Now,One of her many clients is CFDA fashion-incubator.[5] She was also a market editor at style.com.[6] Roopal has been an advocate of bright colors in the fashion industry [7][8]
