Rumania Montevideo was a Japanese pop-band under Giza Studio label. The band name, "Rumania Montevideo" comes from the combination on the Latin spelling of Romania and Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay.[1]

- Makoto Miyoshi (三好誠) - guitarist, composer, arranger
- Akiko Matsuda (松田明子) - saxophonist, keyboardist
- Satomi Makoshi (麻越さとみ) - bassist
- Kazunobu Mashima (間島和伸) - guitarist
Biography
- In 1998, siblings Mami and Makoto Miyoshi send demo tape to Giza Studio and formed own band with later members joining in.[2]
- In 1999, they've made major debut with single Still for your love which ranked fist week #9 rank in Oricon rankings. The song was used as ending theme for anime Detective Conan
- In 2000, three members of band - Akiko, Satomi and Kazunobu formed alternative band Ramjet Pulley
- In 2002 after releasing 3rd studio album MO' BETTER TRACKS they has disbanded
During their career, they've released 3 studio albums, 2 indies album and 7 singles.[3]
