Ryan Stevenson Crotty (born 23 September 1988) is a New Zealand rugby union footballer. He plays as a midfield back for the Crusaders in Super Rugby[2] and Canterbury in the ITM Cup.

He made his debut for the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, in the 47–29 win against Australia in Sydney on 17 August 2013. He scored the match winning try against Ireland at the end of the All Blacks Northern Tour to secure a 100% match winning year for the team.

In the 2014 Super Rugby season, Crotty took over as captain for many of the games due to captain Kieran Read being injured.

Crotty was re-selected for New Zealand in 2016, and was named as the starting inside center for the first test match of the year against Wales.
