SS Valdivia was a steam ship of the Hamburg American Line which was used by Carl Chun for "The Valdivia Expedition", 1898-9.[1] [2] Originally named the Tijuca, she was launched during 1886.[3]She was broken up at La Seyne-sur-Mer in 1927.
