Early life

Sabbam Hari is from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He is a B.Com graduate from Mrs.AVN College.

Career

He came into political limelight when he was elected for Mayor, Visakha Municipal Corporation (VMC) and later was elected to Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) From Anakapalli Parliamentary Constituency in 2009.

He was a staunch follower of Dr. Y.S.Rajashekara Reddy. Sabbam Hari has represented the Congress Party and has recently announced at Raithu Deeksha that he is ready to resign to his MP seat. He moved No Confidence Motion in parliament against his party ruling government, but to no avail. He actively participated in Samaikyandhra Movement and got expelled including 6 other MP's from Congress Party. Right now he has joined Jai Samaikyandhra Party[JSP] which was established by Former Chief Minister Mr N.Kiran Kumar Reddy and contesting in coming 2014 Elections as Member of Parliament in Visakhapatnam Constituency from Andhra Pradesh. Jai Samaikyandhra Party candidate Sabbam Hari quits from Visakha Lok Sabha fray [1] Political manipulator and not trusted by both congress and ysrcongress when he asked to resign and contest again. Stuck to MP position as a political broker ,waited for final dismissal by YSR Congress, after which had to go into political hibernation.

Jai Samayikya Andhra Party Vishakapatnam MP candidate Sabbam Hari withdrew from elections fray. Sabbam extended his support to NDA candidate Kambhampati Hari Babu to keep YSR Congress away from Vishakapatnam. This decision was taken after a meeting of Sabbam’s followers. The former MP requested his supporters to vote for Hari Babu. Sabbam Hari was once a close aide of Jagan and differed with him. He was recently suspended from Congress party due to passing of no confidence motion on their own government. This move will come as a big boost for Hari Babu as Sabbam has good following in the region. He earlier worked as Vishakapatnam Mayor and earned good name in the locals. It is known that YS Jagan’s mother and YSR Congress Party honorary President, Vijayamma is contesting for Vishakapatnam parliament. Hari Babu is riding on the local factor and educated votes till now.
