Samir-Shamma-Prize

The Samir-Shamma-prize for Islamic Numismatics is a bi-annual award for the best book or article in the field of Islamic Numismatics.

History and Purpose

The prize was established in 1992 by Samir Shamma established this prize to be awarded every two years by the Royal Numismatic Society.
