Samir Diwakar Choughule (born 29 June 1973) is an actor and writer from Mumbai, India. Though he is a versatile actor, he is better known for his comedy roles and style. From daily soaps to comedy shows, from theater plays to movies, Samir has acted in Marathi, Hindi and English shows. He is currently known for his lead role in "Comedy chi Bullet Train" being telecasted on Colors Marathi.
Life and career
Samir did his schooling in Shailendra Education Society and later attended M. L. Dahanukar College of Commerce. Samir is a Commerce graduate studied in M. L. Dahanukar College of Commerce and completed his graduation in 1993. Though primarily interested in sports, Samir was later attracted to acting after his acting adventure in school and college gave him success and encouragement.[1] After completing his education Samir worked in Mumbai however later took to full time acting career since 2002 and since then has been acting in various dramas, TV serials and Movies. Samir is married to Kavita Choughule.
Samir is a regular contributor to Saamana e-paper under the column 'Fulora' where he writes about the various flavors of life.[2]
