Samrajyam (English: The Empire) is a 1990 Indian Malayalam-language gangster film directed by Jomon. The film stars Mammootty as Alexander, a powerful crime boss.

Sequel
Samrajyam II: Son of Alexander starring Unni Mukundan in lead. The movie will be the debut Malayalam venture of Tamil director Perarasu. Twentyone years from the original, this sequel will be telling an underworld plot with the son of Alexander.[1]
