Sandra Larsson

Sandra Larsson, is a Swedish actress notable for her role in the Swedish horror film Marianne.[1]

Biography

Larsson recently starred in the feature film Marianne. Sandra, who previously had a background in theater work, including playing Arkadina in a Swedish production of Chekhov's The Seagull, said of her role in Marianne that "I have played a lot of theater before, and thought that making a movie would be just like playing theater but in front of a camera. It wasn’t… So much of my preparation for this movie was reading about the difference between theater acting and movie acting. I read interviews with actors and tried to work a lot with my facial expressions and toning down my voice." [2]

Reviewer Kurt Halfyard of Twitchfilms.com praised Larson's chemistry she shared with fellow Swedish actor Thomas Hedengran.[3] Peter Stormare, who costarred with Sandra in this film, noted that “Sandra was outstanding to work with. She holds her nerve very well and I was always confident when doing a scene with her.” [4]
