Rasnayake Mudiyanselage Sanjeewa Bandara Kavirathna (20 September 1969 16 March 2014) was a Sri Lankan politician who was a member of the Central Provincial Council and Member of Parliament.[1]

Sanjeewa Kavirathna is the son of the late Minister of Cultural Affairs, P.B. Kavirathna. He is also Son-in-law to the Late Minister of Agriculture, J.P. Wijerathna Band. He pursued his education at Ananda College, Colombo. He entered politics through the Central Provincial Council Election 1993. He emerged victorious at the General Elections 2001, entering the Parliament of Sri Lanka representing the Matale District. MP Kavirathna represented the Central Provincial Council as the Opposition Media Spokesperson and the Main Organizer of the Dambulla Electorate, Matale.
