Sarfaraz Alam
Sarfaraz Alam is a leader of the Janata Dal (United) political party in India and a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly. He is a son of former union minister of state for home Mohammed Taslimuddin. He is elected to assembly from Jokihat in Araria district. Alam was first elected to the Assembly on a Rashtriya Janata Dal ticket in 2000.
He was arrested by police in 2010 in an assault case.[1]
On 17 January 2015, Alam was accused of another assault in a Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express train.[2]
