Sawal 700 Crore Dollar Ka (English: The Question of 7 Billion Dollars) is a 2016 Pakistani Action Thriller film which is written and directed by Jamshed Jan Mohammad.[2] The film has veteran Pakistani actors, includes Ghulam Mohiuddin, Javed Sheikh, Ismail Tara, Nayyar Ejaz, and Shamoon Abbasi as well as debutantes such as Qurat Ul Ain and Ghulam Mohiuddin's son Ali Mohiuddin. The film is shot in exotic locations of Thailand[3] and Sri Lanka.[4][5]

Plot

The film is about a man named Tiger (Javed Sheikh), a thief who is arguably the best in the game. Tiger is in debt to the Mafia led by Ringo (Ghulam Mohiuddin), so he has to pull off one last big heist to pay them back. He recruits Rocky (Ali Mohiuddin), a thief who is young in the game with a promising track record to help him pull off one final job of 7 Billion Dollars robbery at a Palace in Bangkok owned by Indian Maharaja (Nayyer Ejaz), who actually smuggles idols and treasure from India and sell it in Black market. All this is happening while a very smart DSI (Department of Special Investigation) Officer Khan (Shamoon Abbasi) is trying to arrest Tiger red handed.

Production

The film is entirely shot in Thailand. The Film has multi star cast like Jawed Sheikh, Ghulam Mohiuddin, Shamoon Abbasi and debutante Ali Mohiuddin and Qurut-ul-ain. The film budget was 65 million Pak Rupees.

Box Office

Metro LIVE Magazine on their Facebook Page confirmed on their August 12 post, that the film had made PKR 14.68 Crore so far from domestic market. This film soon to be release overseas circuit.

Music

The film's background score was done by M. Arshad whilst the film's music was composed by Faizi Ali. Bollywood singers such as Shaan, Alka Yagnik, Kalpana Potwari and Khushbu Jain lent their voices for the film. Local musicians such as Afshan Fawad and Mohammad Irfan also performed in few songs as well.[6] The music launch event was held in Karachi on May 31, 2016.[7]

Release

Teaser trailer of the film was released on March 25, 2016.[8] On June 26, theatrical version of trailer was unveiled. The film was released nationwide on July 6, 2016 (Eid al-Fitr).
