Saya-e-Dewar Bhi Nahi (Urdu: سايہِ ديوار بھی نہيں), is a Pakistani romantic novel that was published in September 2012 in Pakeeza Digest. It's adaption is drama serial, Saya-e-Dewar Bhi Nahi.
Plot
The novel is about the woman, Shehla who is adopted daughter of Zara Begum (Bibijan) and Syed Shahabuddin Shah (Babajan). She doesn't knew that she is their step-daughter but she had always thought they are her biological parents. Shahabuddin and Zara also have a daughter, Tabassum, married and has one daughter, Shah Zain and one son, Usman. Shahabuddin has one nephew, Hyder, son of his prison and late father. Hyder's parents arrange Hyder's marriage with Tahira, who is maternal (mother-side) cousin of Hyder. Hyder and Shehla start taking interest in each other but never marry each other. Hyder finally accepts Shahab's swear to marry Tahira and marries her. Tahira is carefree and loving girl and loves Hyder but she died few months of their marriage giving birth to a girl, whim she thought name, Shahla. Shahab has also a friend, Mairaj Malik who, with his son Malik Mansoor is known as well-known politician. They arrange Shehla's marriage with Mansoor. The heart-broken Shahla marries him. Later Mansoor discovers about Shehla's relation with Hyder and their love. He acts strictly with Shehla. They have 3 children, children include 2 daughters Shafaq and Falak and 1 son Afaaq. One book seller, Peter comes in love of Shehla. Mansoor is in love with Shiza.
