Scottish Legal News (SLN) is a free daily e-mail newsletter for the Scottish legal sector. It is a joint venture between the Scottish Legal Action Group (SCOLAG) and E-News Now Ltd.[2][3] A poll in 2012 found that 76 per cent of Scottish solicitors regularly read Scottish Legal News.[4]
Scottish Legal News runs an annual student essay competition in conjunction with DLA Piper in Scotland. The SLN Annual Review 2015 included contributions from Lord Advocate Frank Mulholland QC[5] and Judge Jed S. Rakoff.
The publication is edited by Graham Ogilvy and the assistant editor is Kapil Summan.
