Biography
Schemmel began voicing the teen and adult variations of Goku for Funimation in 1999, replacing Peter Kelamis (who had in-turn replaced Ian James Corlett). He has since been the most consistent English voice actor for the character; having voiced Goku in the Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Z Kai anime series, and nearly all Dragon Ball-related video games and animated movies (including the two recent theatrically-released movies in 2014 and 2015). In addition to his voice acting career, Schemmel was also an ADR Director and Script writer for NYAV Post, where he had directed and adapted for English dubs of several Japanese anime series.
