Seibi-en

Seibi-en (盛美園) is a landscape garden and nationally designated Place of Scenic Beauty in Hirakawa, Aomori Prefecture, Japan.[1] The garden was laid out between 1902 and 1911.[2][3] The gardens are attached to the Seibikan (盛美館), mansion of the Seito (清藤)[4] family, a Meiji-period fusion of Japanese and Western architectural styles, with an octagonal turret, a faux marble pillar in the tokonoma, and tatami floors.[5]
