Semyon Gudzenko
Semyon Gudzenko, 1951
Semyon Petrovich Gudzenko (Russian: Семён Петрович Гудзенко) (Born Sario Gudzenko, May 3, 1922 in Kyiv - December 2, 1953 in Moscow) was a Soviet Russian poet of Ukrainian-Jewish origin, of the World War II generation.[1] He is often compared with Pavel Kogan and Semen Kirsanov.[2]
He died from old war wounds as he himself predicted in one of his own poems.
