Serge van den Ban (born 2 February 1980 in Haarlem), is a Dutch retired football goalkeeper who currently works as a goalkeeping coach at the Arsenal football academy.[1]

Club career

Van den Ban came through the youth ranks at Ajax but played professionally for Haarlem, FC Dordrecht, MVV[2] and Telstar.[3] He moved into amateur football with ADO '20 in 2009[4] and finished his playing career with Ter Leede in the Dutch Topklasse.

International career

He has played in junior teams of the Netherlands national football team[5] and was crowned the best goalkeeper of the 1999 Eurovoetbal tournament.
