Sergio Gutiérrez Prieto, is a Spanish politician.

Since 2010 Gutiérrez Prieto has served as a Member of the European Parliament, representing Spain for the Spanish Socialist Workers Party. He replaced Magdalena Álvarez, who resigned her seat to become vice-president of the European Investment Bank.

Gutiérrez Prieto currently serves as a Member of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection and the Delegation for relations with the Palestinian Legislative Council[1] In addition to his committee assignments, he is a member of the European Parliament Intergroup on LGBT Rights.[2]
