Shakir Ali Museum or Official Birthplace of Artist Shakir Ali was a family home museum in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.[1] The museum was inaugurated after the death of famous artist and painter Shakir Ali's death.[2]

History

This museum was initially inaugurated in 1975, in the memory of Shakir Ali, by the National Council of Arts Lahore. All the personal belongings of Shakir Ali and his paintings and drawings are also showcased in a gallery.

Library

One of the state of the art research library too has in this museum.[3] the library containing a wide range of collection of art books. Workshops, Seminars and exhibitions are also held at this museum by National Council of Arts.
