Shamin Mannan is an Indian actor. She was born on 11 June in dibrugarh Assam. She has been in many TV serials. She got appreciation and recognition for the Lead role of Bhoomi in Sanskaar - Dharohar Apno Ki[1] Season 1 on Colors TV. Shamin got Nominated in Indian Telly Award for Best Fresh New Face (Female).

Career

Shamin quit her engineering to pursue career in acting.[2] While at college, she did several modelling assignments. After dropping out from engineering college in Bangalore, she shifted to Mumbai, where she worked in many TV commercials for famous brands like Dabur Gulabari Rose Water, Sony Ericson, Polycrol syrup, McDonalds etc.[3] Soon after she got her first chance to act in a TV serial Banoo Main Teri Dulhann on Zee Tv. She was also seen in Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg on Colors Tv and Santaan on Star Plus. She was appreciated for Colors TV's Sanskaar - Dharohar Apno Ki as female lead character Bhoomi Nominations: Indian Telly Award for Best Fresh New Face (Female)
