Shawn Matthews is an American businessman in the financial services industry and currently the chief executive officer of Cantor Fitzgerald & Co..[1]
Career
Prior to Cantor Fitzgerald, Matthews was the managing member of West Side Capital, a broker-dealer, as well as the managing partner of Alchemist Capital Management, a hedge fund.[1]
Matthews is a member of the board of directors of Autism Speaks and formerly the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association.[2]
Education
Matthews received his bachelor's of science degree in finance from the Fairfield University Dolan School of Business and master's in business administration from Hofstra University Zarb School of Business.[1]
