Shinjiro Kazama

Shinjiro Kazama (風間 伸次郎 Kazama Shinjirō, born 1965) is a professor of linguistics at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. His primary area of study is on the Tungusic languages.[1] He is active in linguistic field work, and has also published grammatical papers, praised by fellow Tungologist Toshiro Tsumagari as "revealing". His contributions of Nanai and other Tungusic folkloristic materials form one of the mainstays of Chiba University's Publications on Tungus Languages and Cultures series.[2]
