Abel-Shittim, Ha-Shittim, or simply Shittim, later Abila (Peraea), a place which appears in the Bible
Shittim, failed settlement (1984-2000) in the Arava Desert in the Eilat region of Israel. Since 2002, the site of an Ashram.
