The Shore City Magicians Club Inc is a magic club based in Auckland, New Zealand.

The Shore City Magicians Club hosted the 30th New Zealand International Magicians Convention in June 2010. This has been the largest New Zealand magicians convention to date.

History and objectives

The club was formed in April 1974 by Percy Dawson, Stan Hull and Ron Mogridge with an objective to foster the arts and traditions of magic, with a primary focus on young people.

Meetings

The club meets at Takapuna once a month. Meetings typically begin with club business, followed by performances by members that wish to perform a trick or routine. Club evenings usually have a theme, e.g. sleight of hand techniques, children's magic, quiz night, "A Trick I Don't Do Because ..." etc.
