Siddharth Nagarajan (born 25 September 1997) is the youngest drummer from India. His father, Nagi, is a percussionist and cine rhythm programmer. And his mother, Vidya, a singer. His grandfather Shri.G.Narayanan is a tabla player who worked with the film music director, K. V. Mahadevan for more than 45 years. His debut public show was on 16 April 2000, when he was barely 2.5 years old which earned a place in the Limca Book of Records as the youngest drummer of India.[1]
At age 8 National Geographic selected Siddharth Nagarajan as one of seven geniuses for the show My Brilliant Brain. They declared Siddharth was declared an inborn genius.[2]
Invitations
Siddharth was called as a guest speaker at TED-X in Amrita University Coimbatore, India. He gave his guest percussion performance at Anokha 2011 in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. His talk was well received by critics.[3] Siddharth was invited by former President of India Bharat Ratna A.P.J. Abdul Kalam during the latter's birthday celebrations.[1]

Siddharth holds the following records:
- Most notes in a minute with 2,164 using a multi-stroke roll in 2015
- Youngest drummer (Limca Book of records, 2003)
- Most kick beats by an Indian drummer in a minute with 803 on the occasion of India Book of Records Day Celebration on January 12, 2012 at SVM Mall, Hyderabad.[4][5]
Awards
- World Records University of UK has awarded him with a Honorary Doctorate.[6]
- National Geographic channel selected Siddharth Nagarajan as one of seven geniuses in the world and featured him in a My Brilliant Brain program.After severe testing, Siddharth was declared an inborn genius. Later he performed in front of an audience for twelve continuous minutes and has since drummed his way into the Limca Book of Records for three consecutive years (2003–05), as the youngest drummer.[7]
