The expression sixth hour can refer to:
- the darkness traditionally reported at the deaths of famous people, for example Julius Caesar and Jesus Christ (Crucifixion darkness)
- any time of tribulation or any cataclysmic event
- the fixed time of prayer at the sixth hour after dawn, at noon, called the sext in Christian churches.
