Skajzgiry [skai̯zˈɡirɨ] (German Skaisgirren, since 1938 Hellerau) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dubeninki, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) north-east of Dubeninki, 26 km (16 mi) east of Gołdap, and 157 km (98 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
