Skillbridge is an online platform to find and hire consultants on demand.[1]
Beginning
Skillbridge was founded by Raj Jeyakumar, Stephen Robert Morse, and Saalim Chowdhury.[2]
Present
Skillbridge focuses on providing white collar professionals with access to consulting projects. Its consultants are a mix of full-time independent consultants, stay-at-home parents, MBA and PhD students. Skillbridge was founded at the Wharton School of Business, after co-founder Raj Jeyakumar, who had worked for 7 years as a consultant, realized that there should be a more effective system for matching consultants with short-term projects and jobs.[3] He was joined by co-founders Stephen Robert Morse and Saalim Chowdhury.[4]
In April 2016 it was announced that Skillbridge was acquired by Toptal.[5]
