The SkyBridge is an automated people mover (APM) system located within the Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport in Rome, Italy.
Opened in 1999 along with the Satellite C, the International part of Terminal 3, the SkyBridge system consists of two stations, one in the third floor of Terminal 3 and the other in the second floor of Gate area G . The system is the only means of transport for passengers between the two parts of the Terminal.
The westbound service, from T3 to Gates G, is dedicated to departing passengers only, while eastbound service is for arriving passengers only. Arriving passengers aren't allowed to take the train back, so they need to pass through a transfer security checkpoint to reenter into departure area. Also departing passengers aren't allowed to get back to Terminal 3.
