Sombre Lake

Sombre Lake (60°41′S 45°37′W / 60.683°S 45.617°W / -60.683; -45.617Coordinates: 60°41′S 45°37′W / 60.683°S 45.617°W / -60.683; -45.617) is the northernmost lake in Paternoster Valley in northern Signy Island. So named by United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) because of the sombre setting of the lake and the proximity of Stygian Cove.
