Song o' My Heart is a 1930 Pre-Code American film, starring John McCormack, Alice Joyce, Maureen O'Sullivan, Effie Ellsler and John Garrick. This was O'Sullivan's second film role.

Synopsis

Sean (McCormack), a great Irish tenor, is in semi-retirement, living in a village near a woman named Mary (Joyce), whom he has always loved. However, her aunt had convinced her to marry a well-off man for his money. This man recently deserted her, leaving her penniless with two children, Eileen (O'Sullivan) and Tad (Tommy Clifford). The children move in with the selfish and harsh aunt, and are miserable. Eileen is falling in love with Fergus, a young man who's off to Dublin to seek his fortune. Sean is drawn out of retirement and goes on tour in the United States. Can family life be set right?
