"Song on the Radio" is a song written and performed by Al Stewart. The song reached No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100,[1] No. 27 on the Cash Box Top 100 and No. 29 on the Canadian pop singles chart in the spring of 1979.[2]

The song was a considerably larger Adult Contemporary hit, reaching number 10 on the U.S. AC chart, and spent three weeks at number three on the Canadian AC chart.[3]

"Song on the Radio" appeared on his 1978 album, Time Passages. It was produced by Alan Parsons.[4]
