Sorsa I cabinet
Kalevi Sorsa 's cabinet was the 56th government of Republic of Finland. Cabinet's time period was from 4 September 1972 to 13 June 1975. It was a Majority government
President Urho Kekkonen dissatisfied the Government and the Parliament on 13 June 1975. And called an new parliamential elections on same year.
Sorsa Government start it's term when Finland had good economic growth which allowed the Government to make big social reforms including pension reforms and Public health reforms . Sorsa Government started to make plans for big investments to industry including building an Soviet-based nuclear power plant to Loviisa. During the 1973 Middle East Oil Crisis these plans faced big economic down fall. The Government had to control also foreign capital exhange.
