Sparky Animation is a Singapore animated content company. The company’ produces and co-produces[1] 3D animation for home videos, TV series,[2][3] digital games, mobiles, Internet content and movies for worldwide markets. Sparky Animation develops original contents and IPs, and merchandises them globally through international licences.[4] Their research department also develops CGI production tools and systems. The company also distributes in Asia material developed by other companies.[5]
History
Sparky Animation commenced operations in 2006 in Singapore, which provides government subsidies for the entertainment industry.[6] Its series Dinosaur Train was developed in collaboration with Jim Henson Co.[7]
In 2014, the company has about 120 employees, and has set up a new subsidiary company in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.

Awards/Nominations
Sparky Animation's show Dinosaur Train received the highest viewership in PBS' history. It has also been selected by Hollywood's People Magazine as the Top Kids' Show. The toys developed from Dinosaur Train were nominated under the 'Toy of the Year' Award category by the Toy Industry Association, in December 2010. At the 2010 – 2011, 38th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards, Dinosaur Train was nominated for Outstanding Children's Animated Program. At the 2012-2013 40th Annual Emmy Awards, the show was also nominated under the category of “Outstanding Pre-school Animated Program” and CEO KC Wong was honoured by The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences as the Executive Producer of the show.
Jack was nominated for the 27th Prix Gémeaux 2012 in the “Best Animated Series” category. In May 2013, Jack won the Award of Excellence for the Best Animated Television Program (Ages 6 to 8) at the Youth Media Alliance in Canada.
One Stormy Night was also nominated for the “Best 3D Animated Programme” award at the 2012 Asia Television Awards.
