St. Euphrasia Museum

St. Euphrasia Museum, Ollur has many exhibits relating to the history and development of the congregation of Mother of Carmel in Kerala and esp. in the undivided Vicariate/Diocese of Trichur which extended from River Periyar or Aluvappuzha in the south to River Bharatappuzha in the north. The museum highlights the life and times and the prayer life of Sr. St. Euphrasia Eluvathingal of Kattur/Edathuruthy. It also highlights the work of the first sisters of the Congregation here including Sr. Beatrice Thekkekkara, Sr. Agnus Palathingal, Sr. Angela Palathingal, and Sr. Alappatt. Many artefacts from the 20th century life, sufferings, residence,the Ollur Forane Churh where the sisters went everyday in the early years of the sisters are also exhibited here.
